  • This Privacy Policy provides information regarding the processing of personal data (“Personal Data” or “Data”) of users of the official website of the Chenot Palace Hotel, Weggis (Switzerland) (“CPW”), www.chenotpalaceweggis.com (“Site”) If the user (“User(s)” or “Data Subject(s)”) does not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy and/or the Terms and Conditions of use of the Site, he or she should stop browsing and accessing it. 

    1. Personal Data collected

    Registration Data: These Data are requested during the Site’s registration phase, including using computerized tools and procedures. Inquiry / Booking Data: These Data are requested for the registration or preparation of any Customer stay: First and last name, Address, , Credit card information, Email address,. Further Data and information may be requested occasionally (e.g. ID card and number, expected arrival time, vehicle license plate, preferences, comments) for the execution of the contract or are generated as a consequence of any User’s stay with CPW (Day of arrival and departure, Room number, Medical / Health treatments booked, medical history).

    Navigation and Browsing Data: The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.

    (i) allowing the User to access the Site within the limits of the relevant Terms and Conditions of use and in general giving execution to a specific User request;

    (iv) subject to the User’s express consent (such consent being given with the registration of a User within the Site, or with the registration of a guest with CPW hotel), sending commercial communications and advertising on CPW products and services, sending newsletters or performing marketing searches. The content, frequency, effectiveness and goals of newsletters and other marketing campaigns are assessed and analyzed using profiling tools such as Mailchimp™;

    (v) optimizing of the Site and of the visiting experience of the Users, using web analysis services such as Google Analytics™.     5. Periods of Data Retention

    The Data processed to provide the site access and services will be kept by CPW for the period deemed strictly necessary to fulfil such purposes. Data processed for marketing purposes and/or for sending commercial communications and advertising on CPW products and services will be kept by the company from the moment you give consent until the moment you withdraw the consent.
